Processamento de variação linguística

​

ProVAR (Processing of (Linguistic) Variation) was conceived by Prof. Raquel Freitag (UFS), Prof. Ana Paula Jakubów (UERJ/LAPAL-PUC-Rio) and Prof. Marije Soto (UFRJ). It is a space to bridge the gap between researchers and students in the fields of psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics. Its main goal is to promote debates and exchange of ideas regarding theoretical and methodological issues. 
ProVAR is an collaborative partnership between the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).

ProVAR invites for Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings are a space to integrate researches and students interested in the psycholinguistics-sociolinguistics interface. In each meeting an author is invited to discuss a published paper with the public. It is an opportunity to understand the author’s proposals and motivations for the study as well as their methodological and theoretical choices. As the meetings consist of discussions, rather than lectures, the papers should be read in advance and we expect full participation of the group. Bring your questions and your coffee 😊
